At Peak Home Performance, we talk a lot about what it means to take care of a home and the people inside it. Kyle Jones — one of our Comfort Advisors here in Falcon, CO — is living that idea in the most profound way possible right now.
Kyle and his wife Abbie are parents to 10-month-old Emma, who was recently diagnosed with biliary atresia — a rare and life-threatening liver disease that affects fewer than one in 18,000 children worldwide. The condition damages the bile ducts in and around the liver, preventing normal bile flow and, if left untreated, leading to liver failure.
For Emma, the path forward requires a liver transplant.
Kyle made the decision quickly: he would be Emma’s donor. His surgery is scheduled, and while the road ahead isn’t easy, the family is facing it together.
The Peak Home Performance team stands behind Kyle, Abbie, and Emma during this time. We’re proud to have him as part of our team, and we know this community has always shown up for its own.
If you’d like to support the Jones family — whether covering medical costs, travel, or the day-to-day needs that pile up during a situation like this — COTA (Children’s Organ Transplant Association) has set up a fundraiser on their behalf.
